Jealous...of the phone

Today has been one of those days. I've discovered that Madi really doesn't like it when I am on the phone. Every time I have attempted to make a phone call or answer the phone - be it my cell phone or the home phone, she has pitched a fit. I've had to hang up the phone on my sister twice today to deal with the screaming! It hasn't been a good day for naps either. I think she has taken all of a thirty minute nap the ENTIRE day. So, if I don't call you, please understand that if I do, you will be subject to listening to high pitched screaming in the background (and me loosing my train of thought and asking you to repeat yourself several times to make sure that I heard you correctly over the noise.). I am not excitted about the future fits she will throw. I guess it is a preview of what is to come so I can learn to stand my ground?
