Thanks to my friend Roxy, I can now truly appreciate clothing in a different way. I came upon the following kids clothes. I have not ordered anything from them, but plan on doing so at the first opportunity that presents itself. Cute stuff for both boys and girls...if anyone does order from them, or has already heard of them tell me your thoughts.

Go-vr
I always have cold feet. My family knows this so for Christmas presents my mom has armed me with several pairs of socks over the years. One Christmas I received a rather fuzzy/furry pair of blue socks. Madi has discovered these socks and calls them "go-vr" (translation - Grover...from Sesame Street). She walks around the house with them on her arm. This afternoon, I found her asleep in her crib with "go-vr".

What is it about Mom & Dad's bed...
Birthday Parties at Chuck E Cheese
Here is a small piece of advice to those of us newbie parents - Stay away from Chuck E Cheese on a Saturday! Some of you might have already known this, but we were invited to a birthday and got to experience the chaos first hand. Madi enjoyed riding on the rides. Not an experience I am willing to repeat on a Saturday in the near future though.

Cheeeeezzzz
What did moms do before macaroni and cheese? Whomever thought of it must have had children. Madi seems to have learned to associate saying cheese for the camera and eating macaroni and cheese. Hence the photo below. She actually wanted to take the picture herself, but processed cheese and electronics don't really mix.

Ku-yer
"Time"
I got "Baby Signing Time" videos to teach Madi how to sign in order to prevent screaming - purely selfish on my part. However, I have found it to be rather helpful. Madi will sit and watch "time" for a very long time. She will ask to watch "time" and once you figure out that is what she is asking for, she will say, "Okay time." If any of you have copies of Baby Signing Time Volume 3 and/or 4, I'd happily pay to copy yours...
post script - How sad is it that I am taking pictures of Madi as she's watching a video to have something to post here...I need to get out of the house!
