Presents!!!

We love hats!!! Thank you for the gift Chellese! Madi gave a great big smile when I put it on her. I didn't even have time to take the tag off! She kept this on for a long time. I think she liked playing with the ties.

Madilyn the Explorer

So you can't really tell from this picture, but Madi has started to hold herself up on her hands and toes. She "bellyflops" her way around pretty quickly. I think she will be much more mobile and agile in the next few weeks. Time to start baby-proofing!

Sunday Best...

New Teeth

She did this all by herself! I never knew kids could be so entertained by hairclips! I think she did it so I couldn't get to her nose to wipe it.

Duck Anyone...?

Madi is already taking after mom! Dinner will be ready at 7pm. Anyone have any good recipes for duck? (*No that is not a real knife. Some friends of ours who have a great sense of humor and taste gave us a wooden play sushi making set - which Madi loves!)

If Only...

I broke down and bought Madilyn a "jumperoo". She loves to stand up against things and likes to bounce, so I thought this would be a good way to accomplish both of those tasks without breaking my arms. If only every gift you gave someone was received with such a wonderful and happy response. Could you imagine what Christmas or birthdays would be like?

A New Playmate

Madilyn has discovered mirrors. She gets very excited that there is another little person around - a playmate for her to have fun with. She will sit in front of the mirror in our bathroom for a long time "talking" with her new "friend".
