The "Nursery"

So, I know a lot of you who have seen our apartment here in Manhattan are wondering just where we were going to put the little one upon her arrival. For those of you who have not seen our apartment here in the city, just imagine the smallest room in your house and you probably have more square footage than our entire apartment. We love our little place because we have access to a yard - a rare commodity in the city which we take full advantage of when we are able.

Well, this is what we have come up with for now. Once she starts moving around on her own we'll have to come up with another plan...but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Let's hope that she doesn't acquire too many more toys while we are in such a small space!

Ok, so the crib isn't very "girlie" - but neither is her mother. I think she'll be just fine with it. Who can go wrong with animals? Thank goodness for the invention of portable cribs! It is much smaller than a full size crib and fits snuggly in the living room/bedroom/family room/nursery...
