A Very Vegas Afternoon...

So the weather has started to turn towards the three digits - which some of you might appreciate right about now. We however, are not looking forward to a few months of three digit temperatures that will shortly be upon us. Brad had a little bit of a break today so we went to the Neon Museum for a little peek at some old school Vegas signage.
Dad is hoping that Madi's quest for wedding information doesn't come too soon...
And yes, that is a parasol...the Vegas sun is brutal!

Madi is more interested in stealing Mom's sunglasses. You can't see in this picture, but the sign behind us reads "Sassy". Hints of what is to come...

The latest and greatest construction project that is near completion is the City Center. Proof that everything that is old is new again.

Whenever my family was driving from California to Utah and we didn't drive all the way through, we would stay at the Golden Nugget (because there was no casino or slot machines...hmm...wait a minute!).

That's an awfully big shoe...
