A few cute pictures...

I thought these were just too cute not to share. My cousin is a photographer and has a wonderful eye. She took a few snap shots and I thought these captured Madilyn's personality best. I have to say, I love her smile!

Anderson Family Christmas Party

This is the first time I have attended the Anderson Family Christmas Party with Brad. It has also been about 12 years since the last family party that I was able to attend. It was nice to see everyone. I can't believe how many of us there are! My dad's side of the family is growing exponentially!

Madilyn was happy to see so many little people her age!

This is my dad (on the right) with his mom & syblings. From left to right, Aunt Carol - she has five kids, Uncle Steve - he has six kids, Grandma Lucille - she had four kids, dad (Ken) - there are four of us, Aunt Marilyn - there are ten of them.

Madilyn was so tired she fell asleep amid all the noise!

This is all of my immediate family - top row - Brad, Madilyn, Me, my mom Anne, my dad Ken, my sister Camille. Bottom row - My brother Andy, his son Axton, Rebekah, her daughter Annabelle, my other brother Brit.

First time on a slide

I can't tell if Madi likes the slide or not. It didn't help that her nap was interrupted.

Madilyn and Mirrors

Any kind of mirror makes Madilyn smile. Don't we all wish we could be that easily entertained!

I'm soooo tired...

I changed Madilyn's diaper and realized that she needed to change her clothes. I left her alone in the living room to play with her toys, and came back to find her like this...sound asleep.

I guess when you are that tired you can fall asleep anywhere! She slept like this on her stomach, face down for almost an hour!

The playmat...

I can now entertain myself on my new playmat. It sings to me when I play with the hanging toys!

In Madilyn's own words...

My Christmas experience...

So these gift things taste pretty good. Dad kept telling me not to eat the paper, but I couldn't resist all the pretty colors while he looked away for a second.

And tearing the paper off - Oh what fun!

Ok, these letters have funny marks on them. Mom, can we pick either English or French and get that down before I get too confused?
